I got a wild hair a couple of days ago. I like the brown bag apple pie so i thought. I wonder what it would taste like with pumpkin. I came up with what I thought would work and went to it. The family loved it. I have to tell you,its not for everyone but if you want something really delicious and different that your family has never seen before then give it a try

Next day roll 1 disk out for bottom crust. put in 9 inch buttered pan.

For filling, combine ingredients. Beat together with blender. Pour into pie crust. Roll out second disk to fit over pie, slice a couple of vents on top. Place in brown paper bag and bake at 425 degrees for 50 minutes. Take out of bag(carefully). Bake for 15 more minutes or until nicely browned.
