I like the brown bag apple pie so i thought. I wonder what it would taste like with pumpkin. I came up with what I thought would work and went to it. The family loved it. I have to tell you,its not for everyone but if you want something really delicious and different that your family has never seen before then give it a try<br />

Crust<br />
2 c flour 1/2 c sugar<br />
1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp salt<br />
1/4 tsp baking powder 11/2 tsp vanilla<br />
2 tbs milk 1 c butter<br />
2 eggs<br />
<br />
Filling<br />
2 c pumpkin 1 3/4 c milk<br />
2 eggs 1/2 tsp salt<br />
1 c brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon<br />
1 tsp allspice<br />

<div style="text-align: left;"> Combine dry ingredients for crust in food processor. Add milk,vanilla and eggs.Pulse. Add butter. Pulse. It should look crumbly. Remove from processor. Separate into 2 pieces. Place each </div><div style="text-align: left;">piece between 2 pieces of wax paper. Flatten into disk. Refrigerate overnight. </div> Next day roll 1 disk out for bottom crust. put in 9 inch buttered pan. <br />

For filling,combine ingredients. Beat together with blender. Pour into pie crust. Roll out second disk to fit over pie,slice a couple of vents on top. Place in brown paper bag and bake at 425 degrees for 50 minutes. Take out of bag(carefully). Bake for 15 more minutes or until nicely browned. <br />

2 tbs flour 2 eggs<br />
1 cn cherry pie filling<br />

Topping<br />

1 container whipped cream<br />

Combine sugar,chocolate,and flour in a saucepan,stir in butter and milk. Cook over medium heat until it begins to boil. Remove from heat,let cool blend in eggs and half of cherry filling. Pour into prepared 9 inch crust. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. Remove,refridgerate for at least an hour.<br />
Spread half of whipped cream on top of pie. Add remaining cherry filling and top that with remaining whipped cream. Refridgerate until serving. <br />
Crust<br />
<br />
1 3/4 c crushed graham crackers 1/4 c softened butter<br />
3 tbs honey<br />
<br />
<br />
Filling<br />
<br />
1 tbs plain gelatin 1/4 c cold water<br />
3 eggs(separated 2 c pumpkin<br />
3/4 c honey 1/2 c milk<br />
1 tsp salt 1 1/4 tsp cinnamon<br />
1 tsp allspice <br />
<br />
Crush crackers.Blend honey with butter,mix with crackers. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Set aside.<br />
Combine gelatin and water. Beat egg yolks. Combine with honey,pumpkin,milk,salt,spices. Cook in double boiler until thick,stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add gelatin. Stir until dissolved.<br />
Beat egg whites until whites stand in stiff peaks. Fold whites into pumpkin mixture thoroughly.<br />
Place mixture into crust. refrigerate for at least 3 Hours. 1 unbaked pie shell( see past post) 1/2 c flour<br />
6 oz sweet chocolate 1 tsp vanilla<br />
1/4 c butter 2 eggs<br />
1 14 oz can condensed milk 4 oz flaked coconut<br />
1 c chopped pecans<br />

In saucepan,over low heat,melt chocolate and butter and remove from heat. Add condensed milk,flour,vanilla,salt and eggs and mix well. Reserve 1/4 c coconut,stir in remaining coconut and pecans. Pour into pie shell,garnish with remaining coconut. <br />
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 40-50 minutes till top is firm and coconut slightly browned.<br />

Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs and oil and mix well. Add carrots and beat on medium speed with mixer about 2 minutes. Grease and flour three 9 inch cake pans. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour evenly in pans and bake 25 to 30 minutes.<br />
Whip cheese and butter together until fluffy. Add sugar gradually. Add vanilla and nuts. Ice cooled down cake between layers and top. Mix sugar and butter together add vanilla and flour,blend together well .Mix in walnuts.Add cream and mix together(best with hands at this point). Shape into ball. Cover with waxed paper and refridgerate for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drop about 1 tbsp of dough onto lightly buttered cookie sheet,flatten slightly with fork,brush tops with honey and bake 18-20 minutes. Makes 24-36 cookies. <br />

Ingredients<br />
CRUST:<br />
2 c all purpose flour<br />
1/4 c sugar<br />
1/8 tsp salt<br />
1 c butter cut into pieces<br />
1/3 c ice water<br />
FILLING:<br />
5 Granny Smith apples<br />
1/2 c sugar<br />
11/2 tbs cornstarch<br />
1 tsp lemon juice<br />
1 tsp vanila extract<br />
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon<br />
1/8 tsp salt<br />
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg<br />
11/2 tbs cold butter<br />

Make the crust in a food processor. Combine flour,sugar,salt.Add the butter and pulse until pea sized pieces appear. Add the water and pulse briefly.Transfer the crumbs to 2 pieces of parcment paper and form into 2 disks. Wrap the disks in plastic and refrigerate overnight. <br />
On a lightly dusted surface,roll out 1 disk to a circle 1/8 in thick. Keep rolling until circle is about 2 inches larger than the 9 in pan,line the pan with the dough.<br />
Filling. toss apples,sugar,cornstarch,lemon juice,vanila,cinnamon,salt and nutmeg together put into pie shell and dot with butter,roll out the other crust put it on and pinch dough together. Dont foget to cut a few vents in top dough.<br />
Slide the pie into the brown paper bag and seal tight,place on a cookie sheet. <br />
Heat oven to 375<br />
Bake for 1 Hour take out and remove {carefully} from bag place back on cookie sheet and bake another 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown............... <br />
